Old-Fashioned Parade

Bonnets, braces and bobs - what did you wear grandma?

Alma Nelson on stage for a musical variety act some time in the early 1920s

Would you have worn a hat as big as an umbrella?  Or slept with wet rags tied in your hair to make it curly?

Would you have gone to school wearing a cardboard collar?  Or dressed in black for a whole year?

You might think these habits a bit strange now but if you had lived in the days of your great-grandparents you would have been the height of fashion.  Use your mouse to check out the old-fashioned, fashion parade.
