Barry Street, Northcote

The house on the corner of Barry Street and High Street, Westgarth (Northcote) was later to become the Westgarth Theatre. It was owned by John Seccull who was responsible for the design and construction of the Theatre in 1921.

John Cain Snr. - future Premier of Victoria - was a lodger in the cottage next door which was also owned by the Secculls.
