Thomas White - Saddlers, South Preston

Sources

Sands and McDougall’s Melbourne and Suburban Directory 1864- 1974. [Microfiche]. (1974). Melbourne, Australia: Sands & McDougall.

Thomas White arrived in Preston and established a saddlery business on the west side of High Street at about 35 High Street South Preston in  1867.

With the Junction Hotel across the road and the busy High Street, White was to be in business for many years.

He seems to have ceased business about the turn of the century although continuing to live there until 1907.
