Charles Robertson Rattray

Reported in the Leader - an accident during the construction of Northcote Picture Theatre:

Charles Rattray, a labourer aged 25 years, fell 40 feet from the roof into a pile of soft mortar.  His head and neck buried. He was examined by Dr Sturdee and was taken to Melbourne Hospital where he had severe spinal injuries and was in a serious condition.

Unfortunately he never recovered and his death is listed in 1912.
