Alexander Marshall

Alexander Marshall arrived in Victoria in 1853, making his living both as a carpenter and on the diggings.

Marshall managed several mining companies including the Golden Fleece in Bendigo, and the Bird’s Reef Company in Sandhurst.

After a brief spell in Queensland he became the manager of the New Northcote Brick Company in 1886.
