Kerryl Pottery
Kerryl Pottery was established at 53 Banbury Road, Reservoir after Premier Pottery Presrton closed its doors in 1955, following difficulties over the lease of the property in Oakover Road, Preston.Allan James, who was Premier's first employee, was the potter responsible for most "Remued" production. He became a co-owner in Premier and bought out Reg Hawkins' shares when the company closed, setting up in Reservoir in 1956. The name "Kerryl" is named after his son, Kerry.
