Thomas William Blake

Preston Mayor 1945 - 1946

Tom Blake was a Councilor (1938-1950) and Mayor of Preston, 1945/1946.

Initially represented labour in council then changed to conservative;  Justice of the Peace and lay preacher;

Blake Bros. Stonemasons, Plenty Rd.
Member of the Congregationalist Church; Freemason;
Lived in Wood St;

Married Marjorie Doorgen Rowe – children -  2 girls and 1 boy.
